List Of Covid-19 Heroes So Far In Kenya.

Who is a Hero?

A hero is a person who is admired for their courage and outstanding achievements. Therefore heroes are those fighting covid-19.

While the fight against the corona virus in Kenya is still on, a section of Kenyans have already identify some heroes who have shown a lot of dedication in fighting this pandemic disease. This are the people who have always been in the front line to ensure that the spread of the disease in Kenya, is reduced to zero.

Many leaders, individuals citizens of Kenya and even non citizens, have contributed in this fight on one way or another. Some have been donating food stuffs to the needy people in the society. This is to ensure that those Kenyans who does not necessarily have to go out, stay at home since they have food.

Some have been even seen educating and reminding fellow Kenyans in the community or even through internet to follow World Health Organisation guidelines.

World Health Organisation Guidelines On Corona Virus.

According to World Health Organisation (WHO), there are some practices that one must do to take care of your health and that of others, you need to do the following;

  • Wash your hands frequently with alcohol based rub or with water and soap.
  • Maintain a social distance of at least 1.5 meters away between yourself and and anybody near you. Especially when the person is coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. This is where the corona virus can enter your body making you sick.
  • Practice respiratory hygiene by covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

Who are the heroes so far?

Everybody who have contributed towards fighting the corona virus, deserves to be a hero. But some Kenyans have already picked some individuals whom they have admired the effort on this fight. They include;

1. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.

Many Kenyans have admired how the health cabinet secretary is working hard during this hard times. From day one, whenever he comes out to give daily brief, he gives many Kenyans hope of overcoming the challenge. The power in his words could tell how the situation is serious and that winning the battle is also possible.

At one point, some Kenyans named him the super cabinet secretary throwing out Interior cabinet secretary, Fred Matiangi. Kagwe was also named in the international list among the most active person fighting the corona virus.

2. Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.

Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho is also the most admired leader currently in the country. He been in the front line in the fight against this corona virus.

Many admired him for the strategy he is using to ensure that the disease does not spread further in the county of Mombasa and Kenya at large. Other countries have also admired his style of fighting the disease and even asked their leaders to copy him.

3. Doctors and Nurses.

Kenyans have also named all the doctors and nurses working tirelessly to make sure that those Fellow Kenyans who are already positive of the disease are in stable conditions. This is following the fact that Kenya is recording a good number of recoveries everyday.

Despite the being in the high risk of this disease, our doctors and nurses have not given up yet. They are always there. They deserve to be congratulated for their hard work.

Therefore that is the list so far as per our research. Otherwise, there are a lot of heroes out there. If you have seen anybody contributing in one way or another, add him or her in the list of Covid-19 heroes.
