Ledama Olekina Protest As Raila, Orengo Plan To Steal His Chair Position.

Narok county senator, Ledama Olekina is complaining that his Orange Democratic party leader, Raila Odinga, together with senate minority leader, James Orengo are planning to remove him from county public accounts and investments chairman position.

Ledema Olekina was referring to the letter that is alleged to be from the office of the minority leader senate dated 4th May 2020.

Through the letter, Jame Orengo expressed his dissatisfaction with the conduct and the outcome of the elections of the leadership of the County Public Accounts and Investments committee which were purportedly done on 4th of May 2020.

Therefore Orange Democratic Party intend to withdraw it’s membership from the County Public Accounts Committee until an appropriate resolutions can be made.

Olekina has therefore stated firmly that he will not accept the ‘Raila Orengo deal to remove him from the chair position.

He said that Raila Odinga does not deserve to do such a thing to him after he has stood with him during difficult times. All the times Raila has allegedly be rigged, Ledema says he stood and supported him.

The senator further claims that, the fact that Raila is starting to fight him, is a clear sign that he hate the Maasai community, since he does not want them hold any position.

He added that Maasai people are not fence sitters and one day they will lead the country.

Many people have however advised the senator to stop handling Raila online, but instead look for time and consult with him privately. He is asked to avoid using threats like that of Moses Wetangula who ended up in premium tears.

According to Prof J. Ole Kiyiapi, there was an agreement and Ledama Olekina should not drag the whole community into his selfish ambitions. He added that it is all about democracy and predictable institutions. And that it should either be elections or appointment, since both can not work.
