Isaac Ruto, The Most Happiest Person In South Rift.

Isaac Ruto, The Most Happiest Person In South Rift.

If there must be a person or rather a politician who deserves to be happy in South Rift, is the first governor of Bomet county, Isaac Kiprono Ruto. Even though is is not good to laugh off your brother during hard times.

During the 2017 elections campaign, deputy president William Samoe Ruto made Isaac Kiprono Ruto suffer politically, which later made him to proceed to the second term as the governor of Bomet county.

The rift between the two widen more when Isaac decided to form his own political party, CHAMA CHA MASHINANI on September 2016.

He formed the party when he declined to proceed to Jubilee coalition through then William Ruto’s party , United Republican Party, URP.

Isaac Kiprono Ruto, the first governor of Bomet county was starting to gain more popularity in Rift valley, something that deputy William Ruto could not allow and the only option for him was to block Isaac Ruto from achieving that.

Deputy president William Ruto main target in the South Rift was to ensure that Isaac Ruto could not proceed to the second term.

The deputy made many trips to Bomet county to campaign the late second Bomet county governor, Joyce Laboso against Isaac Ruto. And finally Isaac Ruto lost to Joyce Laboso.

And now that the government is starting to eat it’s own people, as it was prophesied by senator James Orengo, it seems Isaac to be a winner in the South Rift political game.

President Uhuru Kenyatta close friendship with deputy president William Ruto is fading off. Already the president has started chopping off William Ruto’s allies from from various positions in both parliament and the government.

The president started with the likes of Second Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu, The former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and the latest one is removal of senator Murkomen from senate majority seat. And many More who are Ruto’s close political friends.

The rumors from president Uhuru Kenyatta’s allies is that, the next target for president id national parliament, where Hon. Duale is likely to lose his majority seat also, and other Ruto’s allies from various parliament positions.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is said to be planning to bring on board the likes of Isaac Ruto and Evans Kidero, in the next cabinet reshuffle, where Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, who is also allied to DP Ruto, is likely to lose his position in government.

I t was reported that yesterday, 13th of May 2020, the president invited Isaac Ruto to state house Nairobi, just a day after meeting former Nairobi governor Evan Kidero.

This means that Isaac Kiprono Ruto is starting to gain it, while deputy president William Ruto is losing.

With the current changes in the government, with the main target being deputy president William Ruto, his 2022 presidential ambitions might be a bit tough for him.

Any way the political future of Kenyan politics is very difficult to predict. And within the two remaining years to the next election, political wave can shift.
