Betty Kyallo Officially Quit K24. End Of #WeekendWithBetty.

It is the end of your favorite TV program, “Weekend With Betty”  and “Up Close” at K24 television station following the exit of the program host and a senior news anchor Betty Kyallo.

On 30th of May 2020, Betty Kyallo broke the hearts of “Weekend With Betty” and “UP CLOSE” fans after announcing that she is exiting the Uhuru Kenyatta owned television station.

“Thank you guys fro always watching and sharing with us on all our shows. We appreciate you and blessings to you. Never a goodbye but a see you around. We are happy to always give you the best shows and amazing content” – Betty Kyallo.

Looking deeper in the the Betty’s Goodbye note, you will realize that exiting K24 is not the end of her appearing on the TV screens. “Never a goodbye but a see you around.”

Before her last program at K24, Betty Kyallo had given her fans an hint about her exit from the station, after asking them to make sure to watch her next program, noting that no one knows tomorrow.

The exit of Betty Kyallo from the station somehow confirms the rumors out that that things are not okay for K24 stuffs.

It was earlier reported that, K24 television station will be closed soon after the current acting acting CEO Ken Ngaruiya, proposed deduction of staffs salaries, claiming that the station was not making more revenue anymore.

This made things more worst after affected staffs complained, and proceeded to court to challenge the decision where they manage to stop the salary deduction.

So far it is reported that three senior staffs at K24 have already resigned, Betty Kyallo being among them.

As a preparation for the closure, it was also reported that K24 TV station had already sold some programs to KTN NEWS Television station.

It is unpredictable as in which station Betty Kyallo will land next following the fact that she is a senior news anchor and demand for her must be high.

Remember Betty Kyallo’s station before K24, was KTN NEWS, a station now buying programs from K24 tv station.
