This comes barely a week after Kirinyaga County Members of County Assembly vote for a motion seeking to impeach governor Ann Waiguru.

Governor Ann Waiguru’s impeachment case was forwarded to the senate where senators voted that the case be handled by 11 committee members that was formed in the senate.

This is the final stage of Ann Waiguru’s impeachment case. The 11 senators are expected to decide Waiguru’s fete.

With the reported Charity Ngilu’s upcoming impeachment motion, it is a coincident that both the governors are women.

After 2017 general elections, only three female, made to the position of governor, embattled Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru, Kitui governor Charity Ngilu and the late Bomet governor Joyce Laboso.
