HOME FOR CHILDREN LIVING WITH DISABILITIES FACING CLOSURE OVER FINANCIAL CONSTRAINT RECEIVE DONATIONS FROM WELL WISHERS.

Children living with disabilities in Trans Nzoia County have a reason to smile after receiving household and supportive items worth thousands of shillings from well wishers and charity organisations.

Precious kids centre that houses more than 150 children living with varied disabilities was at risk of closure after donors pulled out due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Well wishers under the Umbrella of Subaru car riders dubbed Subaru Nation donated food stuff ,mattresses and wheelchairs among other items to the home.
The Centre director Samantha Hammock said its hard to cater for needs of the children after most donors pulled out.
She said the home is facing financial constraints due to effects of Covid-19.
Subaru Nation chairman Salim Kipkoech said they came together to assist those less fortunate in society especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The team drove from different parts of Kenya and converged at the home to give a smile to the children.
Apart from the donations ,the children also received medical attention from volunteer medical practitioners.
