Women MP's Uproar over CJ Maraga proposal

Women leaders have come out strongly supporting chief Justice David Maraga advising president Uhuru to dissolve of parliament for failing to observe the two third gender rule.

Speaking in Kajiado when attending the community traditional ceremony the section of female elected leaders and others in leadership positions had mixed reactions.

Homabay women rep Gladys Wanga said Maraga is standing on the right track and everything has been passed except the third gender rule defending  him strongly.

Nominated Senator Rose  Nyamunga :upon Justice Maraga to uphold the constitution to support the weaker sex who is always is faca myraid challenges to seek elective positions.

former Nairobi county Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi :That’s the legacy that Maraga will leave and we will remember him for. parliament should ensure that the 2/ 3rd  rule is passed within the tents of the constitution.

Fiery Likoni Mp Mishi Mboko said Maraga  is the hero for women in the country saying  men too should support the two third rule.

However Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko says women should wrestle elective positions from their male counterparts instead of waiting for positions to be given for free.
