Kenya national chamber of commerce and industry (KNCCI) has partnered with several companies and banks to give loans to those persons who were hit badly by the corona pandemic period that they may restart their businesses.

Addressing the media from his office the machakos county chairman KNCCI mr mutavi kithu said that the initiative to help those persons who had registered with chamber to go apply for loans that they may boost or restart their businesses.

“we have partnered with MasterCard foundation, equity bank, eabl end many others so we urge all businesses owners registered with kncci so as to secure these loans. With MasterCard foundation we are giving free loans as from 20 to 30 thousand”, he said

Kithu urged all bar owners to observe all protocols issued by the ministry of health as they reopen their bars so as to ensure no more infections, since on a new lock down they will be most hit on loosing business

“most of the businesses have not yet reopened since we have used all we had plus the stock so we even cant restock as well as reemploying workers back ,but it’s our urge as chamber to those who have already gone back to the business of entertainment to ensure they reemploy as they can to ease the unemployment rate.”, kithu added

In most entertainment industry businesses we were most hit, many lost jobs, others had loans from their bosses and thus can’t even get back to the jobs so as Kenya national chamber of commerce and industry we urge all who are members to go and apply these loans since they require no security and no intrests applying as well.
